World Economic Forum (WEF)

The International Business Council (IBC) of the World Economic Forum has produced a report entitled “Measuring Stakeholder Capitalism: Towards Common Metrics and Consistent Reporting of Sustainable Value Creation”, with the aim of defining shared common metrics to measure, report and compare levels of sustainability, i.e. the effectiveness of its actions in pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations (SDGs), in the business model adopted to create value for stakeholders.
The metrics are based on existing standards and seek to increase convergence and comparability between the various parameters used today in sustainability reports.
The following table gives the 21 main indicators specified in the WEF report.
